WSBE24 is the culmination of the recent SBE Conference round of nine regional conferences spanning ten cities and countries (run between between March 2021 and November 2023). The SBE Conference Series is one of the longest running scientific and technical conference series that brings together the best expertise and the latest knowledge and research evidence to support sustainable development and management of the built environment at all scales, in collaboration with stakeholders of the built environment value chain across the world – from local to national, regional and global, and vice versa.
In support of the transition towards Net-Zero Whole-Life Carbon Buildings, WSBE24 will heavily feature IEA EBC Annex 72 outputs and IEA Annex 89 work program’s progress in various sessions. Topics include: (1) frameworks, assessment methods and data; (2) pathways, instruments and measures; and (3) country and practice case applications.
